Information
Located in the heart of the Côte d'Or, in Chassagne-Montrachet, Domaine Bachelet-Ramonet has 13 hectares of vines. Four generations of wine growers have headed this family farm and, today, it is Alain Bonnefoy and his wife who hold the reins. Furthermore, their wines, of a fairly classical style and consistent quality are reasonably priced.
This is one of the most represented Chassagne-Montrachet premier crus. Sought for its elegance, it has a golden colour that deepens with age. Its aromatic bouquet contains notes of white flowers and a light oakiness due to its maturation in barrels. The palate is opulent and generous, underscored by a lovely minerality and a certain liveliness. This is a wine that will easily keep for 15 years.
