Information
Jean-Claude and Noël safeguard the 17-hectare property created bit by bit by their grandfather Pierre Ramonet in the 1920s, a Burgundian figure. Noël (in the cellar) and Jean-Claude (in the vineyard) took over the domain in 1984. They are the third generation and want to get the best out of the terroir. It is one of the most renowned domain of the appellation for both quality and finesse of its wines.
A family-run business since the 1930s, the Ramonet estate rose up the ranks and is now highly sought after for the quality and finesse of its wines. Jean-Claude and Noël Ramonet produce well-rounded and highly aromatic white wines. The Chassagne-Montrachet Premier Cru Les Chaumées is a shining example of this, worthy of this Burgundy estate's dazzling international reputation.
