Information
Hill of Grace vineyard was established in the latter half of the nineteenth century. Nicolaus Stanitski decided to plant his first vines in 1860 and the domaine adopted the name of the nearby protestant church. Today, the domaine applies the knowledge handed down by previous generations and has a strong focus on biodynamic practices in its vineyard management.
This wine is produced using biodynamic methods, and is a magnificent balance of power and purity. Its black berry notes, the tannins it owes to its élevage in French oak barrels, and its spicy flavours, all make this a superb gourmet wine, perfectly suited for ageing. Indeed, a spell in the cellar is a must, enabling the tannins to soften and adopt a silky texture.
