About the producer

Domaine Drouhin-Laroze has been a family domaine for more than a century and a half, with many prestigious appellations in premier crus and grand crus and therefore an exceptional heritage. Today Philippe and Christine Drouhin and their children manage the domaine.

About the wine

Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Clos Prieur comes from a parcel that formerly belonged to the Priory of Cluny. It is located to the south of the village, on fairly deep, compact marly soil with few stones. With its aromas of black berries, stewed fruit and peppery vanilla, this wine has consistent yet soft tannins and great elegance, with a silky finish.
