Information
About the producer

Paolo Scavino's domaine produces approximately 120,000 bottles annually on his 23 hectares in the Barolo region. The domaine, which was established in 1921 by Paolo Scavino is still a family-run business producing fine wines from autonomous grape varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto. Enrico Scavino and his daughters currently produce top-flight cuvées, which are complex and elegant, across 19 crus.

About the wine

This prestigious cuvée is grown in vineyards producing complex, elegant grapes which, once vinified, produce an intensely aromatic result dominated by spicy licorice notes. Delicate, powerful and fresh, it will benefit from a few years' keeping.
