About the producer
Founded in Beaune in 1880, the Joseph Drouhin house is now run by the four children of Robert Drouhin. Present throughout Burgundy, but also in the United States in Oregon, its reputation is worldwide. It also has a domain of its own, including a vineyard of 72 hectares.
About the wine
Drouhin's Corton Grand Cru comes from the mountain of Corton, north of Beaune, on very well-drained pebbly clay soil. The powerful nose exudes notes of candied fruit, followed by spices and musk. This wine has a richness that balances out its fairly well-structured tannins, and has excellent aging potential.
