Information
Overlooking Saint Amour, Juliénas' vines benefit from a very favourable south-east/south orientation. The resulting microclimate and the vines' altitude, on terraces at between 230 and 400 metres, create ideal conditions for the grapes to ripen. Rich and well-structured, Juliénas' wines can be enjoyed both when when they are young and after a few years in the bottle. They successfully combine a solid structure with fruitiness and well-developed aromas. The colour is a very dark ruby while the bouquet presents scents of peonies and violets or cinnamon, followed by flavours of red berries (blackcurrants, raspberries etc.) and peach stones on the palate.
