The wines from this exceptional terroir are true ambassadors for the village of Chassagne-Montrachet. They embody the wealth of the soils, whose high clay content is the source of their harmonious, mineral aromatic spectrum. The Tête du Clos climat consists of just over two hectares of Chardonnay vines, located only a few hundred metres from the famous Morgeot Abbey. In the winery, Benjamin Leroux crafts his wines following based on his inspiration to offer wines of great purity reflecting the many facets of the Chassagne-Montrachet terroir.
The delicate, bright gold colour is sublimated by an intense bouquet of fresh almonds harmoniously combined with delicious notes of brioche, vanilla and white fruit. The superb freshness strikes a perfect balance with subtle oak on the palate, leading to a lingering, mineral finish that will delight the most ardent Burgundy wine lovers.
