About the producer

Invergordon is one of very few grain distilleries in the north of Scotland, near the port. Traditionally, this type of distillery is more likely to be found in the Lowlands due to supply and logistics considerations. Invergordon began operations in 1961, two years after Invergordon Distillers was founded, in a period when Scotch whisky was becoming more popular, particularly in North America. The distillery was bought by Whyte & Mackay in 1993.

About the wine

A single grain from the Invergordon distillery in Scotland. Distilled in 1973 and bottled 44 years later in 2017 by Belgian independent bottler The Nectar of the Daily Drams.
