Information
Domaine Bonnet-Huteau in La Chapelle-Heulin, in the very heart of Muscadet’s winemaking region and the Sèvre et Maine appellation, has been producing Muscadet for over 150 years. Today it is run by the Bonnet brothers, Jean-Jacques and Rémi. This 40 hectare vineyard has been certified organic since 2005 and there is separate winemaking for four parcels in order to highlight the nuances and subtlety of their respective terroirs. Producing white wines only, the domaine is mainly planted with Melon de Bourgogne. These wines are characterised by their great aromatic intensity.
This Muscadet-Sèvres-et-Maine comes from a soil rich in silica and clay. Powerful and mineral, it stands out due to its breadth and generosity. On the nose, we therefore find notes of white flowers, fresh butter and minerals. The well-rounded palate is balanced by a mineral and saline finish and ends with wonderful bitterness.
