Information
A small family-run estate measuring just four hectares, Domaine Pichat is lauded for its deep and distinct wines. 2000 was a defining year for the family, as they began to sell their production.
Made from a schist soil, this Syrah single grape variety elegantly unfurls an extraordinary character! Its dark hue heralds a wild and racy aromatic bouquet which is rich in notes of sweet spices, pepper, roasting, flowers such as violet and, of course, black fruit. The palate is equally complex. Highly fleshy, it lingers well and has beautiful tannins which require to be left for several years to gain harmony.
