Information
About the producer

Château Joanin Bécot lies 300 metres from the little village of Saint Philippe d'Aiguilhe, in the Côtes de Castillon appellation. It is owned by Juliette Bécot, the daughter of Gérard Bécot (proprietor of Château Beau-Séjour Bécot). The vines have an average age of 35 years and are planted in clay-limestone soil.

About the wine

After manual harvests, sorting is carried out in three stages (two before destemming and another afterwards). The wines are aged in barrels for 16-18 months, 70% of which are renewed each year.
