About the producer
Located on the edge of Barbanne, this property was acquired by Michel Querre and his wife in 1969. It took 30 years to fully restore the vineyard and winery. Lying on Pomerol's western slopes, the vines are planted in a 2.5 hectares of clay-gravel soil.
About the wine
Vinification is very much in the traditional style, in open wooden vats. These methods contribute to producing a wine of tremendous character, with complex flavours that typify the elegance unique to great Pomerols. The property also produces a second wine, le Petit Moulin.
