Burgundy | 1987 vintage
1987 was a satisfactory and fairly homogeneous vintage for red wines. These lovely-coloured wines have developed an extremely elegant aroma. Stamped with fairly soft tannins, they are also rich and discreetly ample. Most of them have acquired an elegant structure, which means they need to be drunk fairly quickly. Those with more concentration will gain in harmony and complexity in the years to come. Thanks to excellent weather conditions at the end of the ripening stage, Chabis had some very successful white wines. The remaining white wines were fairly average due to quite an abundant harvest, lacking in maturity.
