Burgundy | 1976 vintage
In 1976 the vines were not affected by the drought in Burgundy. The exceptionally sunny weather was very good for them and produced a perfectly sound harvest. Flowering right at the beginning of June followed by a rapid veraison was responsible for making this harvest the earliest of the century. The red wines have luxurious colour, body and a nice bouquet; they are a beautiful blend of firmness and suppleness. The white wines are elegant and fragrant. An outstanding vintage.
