Burgundy | 1974 vintage
Thanks to a dry and sunny summer, on the whole, the Burgundy vineyards produced good quality wine. Problems with the flowering in June reduced the quantity of grapes, which was below average. Fortunately the summer heat ripened the grapes sufficiently before the rainy spell at the end of September-beginning of October. Despite a cold and wet harvest, an easy vinification gave rise to good-quality wines, nicely coloured and supple.
