Burgundy | 1950 vintage
Weather conditions were extremely favourable to vine growth. However, ripening was compromised by a short spell of rain which was fortunately followed by several weeks of good weather. The 1950 wines are well made and have similar qualities to those of 1934, which were hugely popular; A good year for Burgundy, these wines are smooth, mellow and fruity.
