Burgundy | 1948 vintage
After a sunny spring and a period of cold and rainy weather during flowering, 1948 was marked by irregular atmospheric conditions. Although the summer was not particularly hot, September was a dry and hotter, which allowed the grapes to ripen sufficiently. The harvest was barely average for red wines and poor for white wines. A good vintage with fine and frank wines.
