Pampero
Industrias Pampero was founded in 1938 by Alejandro Hernández in Venezuela. The rum was produced at Industrial Licorero del Centro in Valles del Tuy, in the state of Miranda. The brand is best known for Pampero Aniversario, a rum launched in 1963 to celebrate the brand’s 25th anniversary. The company was bought in 1991 by United Distillers, who sold the distillery in 2000 but kept the brand, which is still produced there.
