Wine for sale: Laroque d'Antan (Domaine)

Laroque d'Antan (Domaine)
A family estate that channels the forgotten terroir of Côtes du Lot to produce pure, precise crus.
The Laroque d’Antan estate is a family affair. For nearly thirty years, the winemakers had visited vineyards all over the world before they settled down in the terroir of Cahors. They then reclaimed land that had been completely abandoned and utterly ruined, and after several months of work, they succeeded in restoring it to its former glory.
What is the fundamental principle of this estate? Respect for its grapes and its soils. The soil is worked with the utmost care, the vines are harvested by hand and the yield is carried by Effraie, the estate’s donkey. The estate has always been organic and has held that certification for many years. It is now looking to have its vineyards become biodynamically certified too.
In the cellar, the same standards of care are provided to the grape juice. Thanks to natural yeasts and little to nothing being added, all vinification is done naturally. The result is a wine that reflects its terroir, pure and unique.
