JJ Hahn

Johann Christian Hahn and his wife Maria arrived in southern Australia from Hamburg in the depths of the winter of 1839. They bought this land in the Barossa Valley and established and managed a farm there. In 1914, Hermann Hahn, who belongs to the third generation of the family, began to cultivate vines. The family quickly went into business. In 1977, James and Jackie decided to produce their own range of wines and created the JJ Hahn label. The brand soon cemented its reputation, notably due to its superb Shiraz 1914 and 1918.
