        Austin's

In 1982, Pamela and Richard Austin bought a small parcel in Geelong, south-east Australia, in a continental region with a cool but temperate climate not far from the Indian Ocean. Originally their goal was to produce wines for their own consumption, but they were soon joined by an oenologist named Richard, who over the years had become a specialist in winegrowing. In the 1990s, the vineyard was extended to the Moorabool Valley, where the Austins planted new parcels, reaching a total production of 60 hectares. Riesling, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Gris grapevines are planted in limestone and basalt soils that allow them to develop their fulfil aromatic potential. The estate was taken over in 2008 by their son Scott and his wife Belinda, who specialize in the production of single-plot wines designed to respect the quality of the fruit and the terroir and be characterized by balance and precision. A skill they master perfectly.
