This "classic" – but certainly not ordinary – cuvée brings the promise of shared gourmet moments with an aperitif or a refined meal. It is produced from the finest press juices, vinified in a traditional way. The dosage is about 8 to 10 grammes of sugar per litre. The bottles mature for several years in the cellar. The visual aspect is a fairly strong golden colour. The nose exhales intensely floral (white flowers, hawthorn, acacia) and fruity (apple) scents, with notes of toast and marzipan. The palate is fresh, creamy and vinous.

About the Producer Deutz
Located in Aÿ, 3 km from Epernay, a beautiful private mansion has behind its walls from the 19th century, one of the finest brands in the vineyards of the Montagne de Reims, founded in 1838 by two Prussians, William Deutz and Pierre-Hubert Geldermann. Charm and sophistication are not the only for its architecture, the wines carry the same spirit mingled with virtuosity and refinement, led by Fabrice Rosset, its CEO since 1996. Rooted in the land of Pinot Noir, Champagne Deutz develops from this wonderful grape variety but also excels in the control of Chardonnay wines with remarkable white wine. The vineyard covers just over 40 hectares, the remaining supply comes from the best vineyards located in the Montagne de Reims, Côte des Blancs, Marne Valley and region of Epernay. In 1993, Louis Roederer came to 60% stake in Deutz. Major investments were then made: Extended cellars, modernization of disgorgement and bottling, with the ambition to increase annual production to 1.8 million bottles. On a beautiful land, and perfectly neat vineyards, a tradition of excellence was founded throughout the range of the famous "Deutz style" that is perpetuated over the years, delicate and vinous. Deutz is now equal in many respects the greatest champagnes.
