Lot presentation

Château La Croix Saint André (no reserve) 1971

The wine

Careful parcel-based cultivation and an exacting vinification process encouraging micro-oxygenation enable this wine to express attractive notes of very ripe, even jammy black berries. The juicy texture ends in delicate violet notes.

About the Producer La Croix Saint André

Château La Croix Saint-André belongs to one family and its vineyard (8% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon) extends over about twelve hectares on a clay, gravel and silica terroir. The domain has chosen to work on plots separately in order to extract the very quintessence of each. As for the vinification, this is done carefully to respect the raw materials.
