Brut Grande Tradition Besserat de Bellefon
The wine
The Grande Tradition Brut is a champagne for apéritifs as well as fine dining (fish or crustaceans). Its colour is light yellow, with attractive, very persistent bubbles. The bouquet expresses floral notes and the mouth is full, with great freshness and a fine balance. The finish is long and meaty.
About the Producer Besserat de Bellefon
Maison Besserat de Bellefon originated in Aÿ in 1843 with the creation by Edmond Besserat of his champagne house. It was renamed Besserat de Bellefon after the marriage of Edmond Besserat (the founder’s grandson) to Yvonne Meric de Bellefon. This champagne house is particularly famous for its "Cuvée des Moines", developed for gastronomy, in response to the challenge launched by the Director of the Samaritaine de Luxe to design a champagne designed to ideally accompany an entire meal.
