The wine
A Glen Keith distilled in 1991 and bottled in 2012 for the Ocean Liner range for the Whiskyschiff Zurich whisky festival in Switzerland. It was selected by Lars-Goran Wiebers, the founder of Jack Wiebers Whisky World, a spirits shop founded in Germany in 1996. He has selected many whiskies for various ranges, including Old Train Line, Gentle Noses, The Cross Hill and Auld Distillers Alliance. A limited edition of 239 bottles.
About the Producer Glen Keith
Founded in 1957 by the Chivas Brothers group, the Glen Keith distillery was, in its early days, designed to trial new ideas. Originally equipped for triple distillation, it was also the first to install a gas-fired still system, developed its own strains of yeast and produced a peated single malt named Glenisla. The distillery was mothballed in 1999 and then bought by Pernod Ricard, who updated the distillery and relaunched production in 2013.
