Bernaudeau’s red cuvée is an excellent expression of Cabernet Sauvignon, complex and fruity. It will go perfectly with red meat.

Vin de France Les Vrilles Stéphane Bernaudeau (Domaine) 2014
The wine
Les Vrilles is the only red wine produced by Stéphane Bernaudeau. In the cellar, the whole harvest is vinified at once, fermenting with indigenous yeasts before maturing the wine for one year in barrels. A superb expression of the Cabernet Sauvignon varietal, offering red fruit aromas with more complex layers of earthy, spiced notes. Well-rounded in the mouth with fine, blended tannins. Decant a few hours before drinking to fully enjoy its profile.
About the Producer Stéphane Bernaudeau
Stéphane Bernaudeau, who works for Domaine Mark Angeli, also owns just over 2 hectares of vines in Anjou in the Martigné-Briand district. This small-scale concern has been very successful and it is hard to get hold of bottles of its Chenin cuvées as their quality is so high. These wines have a distinctive depth, energy and minerality. We can highly recommend wines from this outstanding producer.
