Irancy Vieilles Vignes Colinot 2017
The wine
Forty-year-old vines, quite late harvests, and a 12-month maturation are some of this wine’s secrets. It has a deep, ruby colour. On the nose, its aromatic bouquet wonderfully expresses the richness of Pinot Noir. On the palate, its tannins are firm, and its fresh underscore is balanced by a velvety texture. There are some delicious aromas of cherry and syrupy fruit that you can appreciate in the ten to fifteen years to come.
About the Producer Colinot
On the Yonne, just like her father before her, Stéphanie Colinot produces absolutely remarkable and intensely fruity red wines. Her wines are also good for aging. She is undoubtedly today one of the best viticulturists of Pinot Noir in the region.
