Vouvray Le Peu Morier Domaine Vincent Carême 2007
The wine
Le Peu Morier is a dry wine from Vincent Carême, produced in a flint-rich terroir offering a superb tautness which perfectly complements the well-bred Chenin grapes. The one-year élevage and vinification in barrique barrels gives this wine its structure.
About the Producer Vincent Careme
Located in Vernou sur Brenne, in the heart of the Vouvray appellation, domain Vincent Carême was founded in 1999. The 14-hectare vineyard was planted entirely with Chenin by Vincent Carême and his wife, who have practiced organic farming since 2007. In the winery, vinifications are carried out in barrels and casks, using solely ambient yeasts; the wines are then matured for 12 to 18 months in vats? The vineyard now spans just over 17 hectares. A flagship domain in Vouvray.
