The wine is pumped over gently for extraction, followed by several weeks of maceration to impart tannic structure. A lovely expression of Syrah with aromas of black fruits and spices. The palate is generous and flavourful with notes of cocoa. The tannins are pleasant and integrated even in youth.

About the Producer Terlato
Michel Chapoutier set his sights on Australia, where he set up several projects all over the country. With the help of Ron and Elva Laughton (Jasper Hill), he takes care of vines situated to the north of Melbourne in Heathcote, on a very rare Cambrian terroir. In partnership with his American importer, he set up a joint-venture in the Australian Pyrenees, “Terlato & Chapoutier”: the domain in question.
